Add a touch of Kyoto to your Western teatime. Western (black) teas use hotter water and are steeped a bit longer than Japanese green teas. Our tea strainers for Western tea are slightly shallower and designed to fit wider cups, keeping the leaves out when your pour yourself a cup. Yet they're designed with the same handmade, hand-woven intricacy and refinement as our Japanese tea strainers.
