Brass and Rosewood Tea Strainer
This strainer is knitted by combining the technique of knitting in a chrysanthemum flower pattern called "Kikudashi" with tortoiseshell knitting.
The inside is lined with a fine stainless steel mesh, so you can brew very clear and beautiful black tea.
The shallow shape is large enough to fit in a black tea cup. The rosewood in the handle is also called Shidan, and is a highly durable wood that is also used for musical instruments and high-end furniture.
If you use it for a long time, the color will gradually change to a brighter and warmer color.
It is also recommended as a gift as a set with Asahiyaki TEASTORAINER CUP.
The longer you use the copper/brass items, the more they will turn amber, giving you a beautiful smoked look.
Stainless steel is characterized by a clean and neat feel with little discoloration.
