Rosewood Tea Strainer – Brass
This tea strainer is hand-crafted using a combination of kikudashi chrysanthemum weaving and tortoiseshell weaving. The inside is lined with a fine stainless steel mesh that lets you brew clean and clear tea. The shallow shape mounts neatly in a teacup. The handle is crafted with shitan rosewood, a durable wood also used in musical instruments and fine furniture. With use, the color gradually becomes brighter and warmer.
The brass takes on an amber hue, giving it a refined smoky appearance, while stainless steel has a clean and sleek look with little discoloration.
Pair this strainer with our porcelain tea strainer holder for a useful and elegant gift.
