Owing to many years of manufacturing Kyoto-made products for a range of clients with precise needs, Kanaamitsuji also produces magewa bentwood products, such as horsehair and rattan strainers. All work is completed at the Kanaamitsuji Kitayama Atelier.

Our magewa products are highly durable and sustainable. We craft them with an indefinite lifespan, as they can be reformed and repaired over time, ensuring continually reliable use.

*All materials we use in the process, including horsehair, rattan, bamboo, and cherry bark, are from Japan.
